This is an interesting location on the west coast of Italy. It looks like an island but it isn’t quite as it’s connected to the mainland by two narrow threads. It definitely feels like an island though.
We are staying in the larger of the two main towns, Porto Santo Stefano, which is very pretty. The beaches consist of mainly small coves, some sandy, some pebbly. We have explored 2 that are in walking distance from our airbnb and a larger sandy beach which we’re going to today by bus. A very pleasant place. I must say that travelling around Italy so far each stop has felt like you are in a new country, that’s how varied the scenery is in this great country.
