I recommend a day away from the beaches to do this trip, well worth a visit. We left nice and early, which was a good thing to do as the crowds build up quickly during the morning.
It’s about a 1 hour 15 min taxi from Colva, then you get on a bumpy old jeep ride for about 45 mins. After that it’s a 15 minute walk to view the falls, pestered by monkeys all the way, but they’re pretty good fun, but sneaky too, so don’t leave bags unattended, don’t put sunglasses on your head etc.
All up the trip cost us around £63, and that included a stop at a spice plantation on the way home, with a little 30 minute guided tour and lunch.
