This area is about an hour from Melbourne city, a relatively low level mountain range which hosts lovely little townships, natural beauty and a vast array of wonderful trees, many giant gums are the highlight for me. There is lots to see, so we just scratched the surface on this little day trip.
We visited Sarrafras and Olinda and enjoyed a fantastic walk around the vast botanical gardens of the Dandenongs. I would highly recommend this if you’re looking for an excursion outside of Melbourne city. Here are some of the images we were fortunate to see.
