Culture day

The best features of Goa are the beaches, the weather and the food, but today we ventured out to see some of the local culture and history.

We visited Shantadurga temple, Panjim church and Old Goa Church, the latter being over 400 years old. To be honest it was a bit underwhelming overall. Make sure you cover your shoulders and legs if you want to go into the temple. The Old Goa church was only available to view from outside.

Panjim looked like a nice small city but overall unless you’re really into looking at churches and historic stuff I wouldn’t recommend this as a great day out. The taxi driver that took us was also a crazy driver!
