Arrived in Warrnambool today, very pleasing on the eye and quite a big city spread out over quite a large area, but very affluent looking place with an amazing ocean coastline. Unfortunately the weather deteriorated by the time we got here. Sunny but a strong cool coastal wind the day we arrived and then cloudy and cool on the second day. Amused ourselves by going to a place called Cheese World which we thought might be quite interesting, but wasn’t; still bought some cheese though.
We then went for a nice walk on a track at the back of Granny Grave’s beach to a cafe/restaurant called Pavilion Cafe where we enjoyed a nice lunch. Would recommend this place for good food at a fair price.

Day 2 the weather improved and we took a drive to Port Fairy, which was well worthwhile. It’s an incredibly pretty town, beautiful properties, a lovely quaint town center, and magnificent beaches. We enjoyed it all, just a shame we only had one day here, but one day was better than none that’s for sure.
